Description

Create a vacuum seal on most regular- or wide-mouth canning jars that locks out air. The Canning Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit includes one Regular Mouth Jar Sealer, one Wide Mouth Jar Sealer, and an external vacuum hose. The Hose attaches to most vacuum sealers with canister ports, including most LEM MaxVac Vacuum Sealers and the Roots & Harvest SureSeal Vacuum Sealer (vacuum sealer not included). Place a jar sealer on a jar with a canning lid, attach the hose to the vacuum sealer and jar sealer, and vacuum following vacuum sealer directions. This method is best for short-term storage of dry goods, such as pasta, rice, or crackers. Not a substitute for heat canning.<p
